Maqashid Sharia serves as a framework to assess the extent to which financial institutions fulfill the objectives of sharia, including the preservation of religion, life, intellect, lineage, and wealth. This study adopts a descriptive approach using a literature review method from various relevant journals and scientific publications. The findings indicate that Islamic Banks tend to excel in adherence to sharia principles, whereas Conventional Banks perform better in financial efficiency. However, the implementation of Maqashid Sharia in Islamic Banks still requires improvement, particularly in terms of financial sustainability and social impact.
Suzana Ana Nurnasrina Nurnasrina Salman Fibriyani Bte Nola Huda Nurul Copyright (c) 2025 Al-Amwal :Jurnal Ekonomi Islam http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2025-06-30 2025-06-30 14 1 1 12 PERAN PEREMPUAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KESEJAHTERAAN KELUARGA MELALUI USAHA MIKRO DITINJAU DARI PERSPEKTIF EKONOMI ISLAM https://jurnal.stei-iqra-annisa.ac.id/index.php/al-amwal/article/view/290
This research aims to find out the role of women in improving family welfare through micro businesses from the perspective of sharia economics in Sekip Village, Pekanbaru.
